Welcome to Apex Briefing. By accessing this website, purchasing any service, or engaging with our programs, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Use of This Site

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use this site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the functionality, security, or accessibility of the website.

Unauthorized use, including attempts to gain access to restricted areas or misuse of content, is strictly prohibited.

2. Services and Nature of Engagement

Apex Briefing provides advisory, preparation, and communication support for professionals and leaders preparing for presentations, pitches, negotiations, executive meetings, and other rooms where the message, decision, money, visibility, or opportunity matters.

Services may include digital resources, one-time reviews, monthly preparation support, private intensives, simulations, strategic communication reviews, live events, and related advisory services.

All services are intended for professional development, preparation, and strategic communication support only. Apex Briefing does not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to contract awards, promotions, investment, revenue, deal closures, business results, or employment opportunities.

3. Intellectual Property

All materials provided on this site, including text, frameworks, simulations, documents, and proprietary methods, are the intellectual property of Apex Briefing.".

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or share any materials without prior written consent.

4. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

All payments are processed securely. By purchasing any Apex Briefing product, program, service, or event, you agree to the payment terms stated at the point of purchase.

Digital Products and Free Resources
Free resources, including blueprints, playbooks, guides, PDFs, and other downloadable materials, are provided for educational and informational purposes. Digital products are non-refundable once access has been granted or the file has been delivered, unless otherwise stated in writing.

The Ready Room
The Ready Room is a one-time review service. Due to the customized nature of this service, payments are non-refundable once materials have been submitted for review or work has begun. If a client needs to reschedule a related call, they must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Monthly Support Services including "The Working Room."
Monthly support services are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase. Clients may cancel future billing by submitting a written cancellation request to [email protected] before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future billing but does not create a refund for the current billing period.

Private Intensives and Advisory Services
Private intensives, including The Decision Room and related advisory engagements, require advance payment or an agreed payment schedule. Due to the preparation, customization, and reserved availability involved, payments are non-refundable once work has begun, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

Events and Private Dinners
If Apex Briefing offers live events, dinners, or private gatherings, the cancellation terms for that event will be stated at the point of registration. If no separate event policy is provided, the terms listed below apply.

Her Table Cancellation Policy

For Her Table dinner registrations, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • If you cancel 30 or more days before the event date, you will receive a full refund or a full credit toward a future Apex Briefing event, at your election.
  • If you cancel 15 to 29 days before the event date, you will receive a 50% refund or a full credit toward a future Apex Briefing event, at your election.
  • If you cancel 14 days or fewer before the event date, no refund will be issued. A credit toward a future event may be offered at Apex Briefing’s sole discretion.
  • If you do not attend without prior written notice (no-show), no refund or credit will be issued under any circumstances.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The cancellation date is the date Apex Briefing receives your written notice. Your seat is not confirmed until both a signed event agreement and full payment have been received.

In the event that The "Her" Table dinner is canceled or rescheduled by Apex Briefing, registered attendees will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer their seat to a future date.

Apex Briefing is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by the attendee in connection with the event.

Recurring Billing Authorization

By purchasing a monthly support service, you authorize Apex Briefing or its payment processor to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next billing date to avoid future charges. Apex Briefing does not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.

 

5. Confidentiality

We respect the confidential nature of your work.

Any information shared during Apex Briefing services, programs, applications, forms, calls, simulations, reviews, intensives, or events will be treated as private and will not be disclosed without your consent, except where required by law.

Clients and participants are expected to extend the same confidentiality to any proprietary frameworks, materials, examples, documents, strategies, or information shared by Apex Briefing.

Participant-to-Participant Confidentiality

For group programs, live events, private dinners, or gatherings, participants agree to keep information shared by other participants confidential. This includes but is not limited to business strategies, financial details, fundraising plans, client relationships, personal experiences, and any other information shared in trust.

Use of Submitted Materials

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share any materials submitted to Apex Briefing, including presentations, decks, recordings, scripts, emails, business documents, or related information. Clients should not submit confidential third-party information unless they have permission to do so.

Apex Briefing will use submitted materials solely for the purpose of providing the requested service, unless the client gives written permission for another use.

 

6. No Recording Policy

To protect privacy and candor, participants may not audio record, video record, livestream, screenshot, or screen capture any Apex Briefing session, event, program, or gathering without prior written consent from Apex Briefing and all participants present.

Apex Briefing may record private client sessions only with notice and consent. Any recording provided to a client is for that client’s personal or internal professional use only and may not be copied, published, distributed, or shared without written permission.

7. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Apex Briefing provides communication strategy, preparation, and professional development support. Our services do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, investment, employment, therapeutic, or medical advice. Clients are responsible for consulting appropriate licensed professionals for those matters.

8. Code of Conduct

All participants in Apex Briefing events and programs are expected to engage with professionalism, respect, and good faith.

Apex Briefing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline entry to or remove any participant whose conduct is inconsistent with the professional standards of the event or program. In the event of removal for conduct reasons, no refund will be issued.

9. Limitation of Liability

Apex Briefing is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website or participation in our services.

All decisions and actions taken based on our guidance are the sole responsibility of the client.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Continued use of this site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those updates.
